About Friends Christian School

Our Mission
Friends Christian School exists to develop, nurture, and equip students to positively impact their world for Jesus Christ.
Our Vision: Friends Christian School combines academic excellence with a Christ-centered approach to developing the whole child, equipping students to thrive in the classroom and beyond through faith, athletics, arts, technology, and meaningful social-emotional growth.
Our Core Values
Everything we do is anchored in four commitments that shape how we teach, lead, and partner with families.

We integrate Biblical Truth into everything
Biblical studies are taught at every grade level, with a Christian worldview woven through every subject.
We educate the whole child with excellence
Committed to academic excellence, critical thinking, and problem-solving within a Biblical worldview.
We live out what we believe
Our faculty and students don’t just study Biblical truth, they demonstrate it through godly living and Christian ministry.
We partner with parents
Parents hold the primary responsibility for their child’s education; we partner with them every step of the way.

Start Here, Stay Here
You didn’t choose Friends Christian by accident. You chose faith, teachers who know your child by name, and a community where they belong. Every year that follows isn’t a new decision; it’s the natural continuation of something already working.
Friends Christian School is one of the only schools in the area built to carry your child the entire way, from their earliest years through 8th grade, without ever having to re-apply, switch schools, or start over. The faith you plant early keeps being watered. The friendships your child builds young become the ones that carry them through adolescence. And the teachers who know your child’s strengths and struggles this year are often the same ones who’ll know them next year, too.
Middle school is when this matters most. It’s the age when identity, pressure, and big questions all arrive at once, exactly when a stable, values-aligned community should be holding steady, not disappearing. Families who stay the course find that the foundation they built early is exactly what carries their child through the years that test it.
